Claudia Galvan, Research Scientist

Claudia joined Vista Photonics in November 2019. She is a graduate of New Mexico State Univeristy with a degree in  with a BS in Biochemistry and minors in Biology and Chemistry.  Claudia has a strong analytical chemistry background and has worked with both state and federal government agencies. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at NASA-WSTF through New Mexico State University's Co-op program. Claudia also has regulatory experience and helped develop new methods for analysis at the New Mexico Department of Agriculture. In addition to research, she will assist in developing procedures and protocols as part of the Quality Management System certifications.

Kyle Jones, Research Scientist

Kyle joined Vista Photonics in November 2019. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a BS in Chemistry. While at NMSU, Kyle was an undergraduate research assistant in an analytical chemistry lab specializing in uranium abatement using clay material. He then worked as a research lab technician in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry performing uranium analyses using spectrofluorimtery and clay characterization, such as pasticity, zeta potential, and surface area. As a Research Scientist, he works with the Technical Staff in the research and development of optical trace gas detectors.
